THE CONTINUUM METHOD // 01

MEASURE.
PRESCRIBE.
DEVELOP.

The same loop, every athlete, every day. Nothing about it is a metaphor.

THE CONTINUUM METHOD // 02

Four domains. One human.

Jordan is producing more force earlier in the jump.

These are not four programs. They are four dimensions of one person, and they move each other. A psychological reading changes how a physical session should be loaded. A cognitive gap can look like a skill gap until it is measured separately.

MEASURE

What is measured, and how often.

Every measurement carries its own provenance — what device, what conditions, what date. A number with no history behind it is an opinion.

01PHYSICAL

Explosive power, sprint, asymmetry. Tested in session, not estimated.

In-session testing // validated devices // matched conditions
02COGNITIVE

Reaction, pattern recognition, decision accuracy.

Reaction protocol // pattern task // decision log
03SKILL

Sport-specific technical and positional execution.

Representative task design // game-like constraints
04PSYCHOLOGICAL

Composure, focus, response under pressure.

Self-report plus physiological markers // pressure delta

Every stage stores its output and its provenance. Nothing is recalculated when you look at it.

PRESCRIBE

From the gap, not from a template.

Two athletes with the same Continuum Score can get entirely different weeks. The prescription starts with the priority, not the sport.

DEVELOPMENT PRIORITY
Pressure decision-making
Current 72 // Target band 80–86
PRESCRIPTION 01Small-sided constraint training 2x weekly
PRESCRIPTION 02Video decision review 1x weekly
PRESCRIPTION 03Cognitive reaction protocol 3x weekly

Jordan's week is built around the gap that moves his number, not a generic soccer program. The priority is reviewed every window.

DEVELOP

The loop closes.

Retest, compare, attribute, adjust. A protocol that does not move the number gets replaced. That is only answerable because the result is recorded against the prescription that caused it.

REMEASURE

Each pass writes a new record. The old one survives with the exact inputs and weights it was built from, so history stays reproducible.

THE DAILY OVERRIDE

The method sets the direction. Readiness sets the dose.

The Continuum Score moves over months. Readiness to Train decides what today should cost — reading sleep, load, recovery, mental check-in and academic load band together.

The recommendation is not the decision. A coach makes the call.
