Abstract architectural study in shadow and light — not a depiction of the Continuum campus
THE ACADEMY // COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS

BUILT IN
NORTH TEXAS.

Where the athletes already are.

IMAGERY: ARCHITECTURAL STUDY — NOT A DEPICTION OF THE CAMPUS
WHY HERE

The region decided before we did.

Dallas–Fort Worth has one of the densest competitive youth sport environments in the country. The clubs, the tournaments, the private coaches, the showcases — they are already here, and so are the athletes.

So are the families driving across the metroplex for it. School in one city, club practice in another, strength work in a third, a skills session squeezed in between. The fragmentation this academy exists to fix is a commute here. Putting the system in one place only works if the place is where the athletes already live.

And when development turns toward what comes next, the concentration of college programs within reach of North Texas matters. Recruiting exposure is not a plane ride away from here. It is a drive.

SITE SELECTION AND FACILITY DEVELOPMENT IN PROGRESS

That is the honest state of things, and we would rather say it plainly than paper over it. Nothing on this page — or this site — is a rendering or photograph of a building we have. The imagery is atmosphere, not depiction. As the site is selected and the facility takes shape, real campus imagery will be published here, and this page will change to show it. Until then, we will not show you a campus that does not exist yet.

WHAT THE DAY NEEDS FROM A CAMPUS

Requirements, not promises.

The engineered day dictates the building, not the other way around. Four kinds of space, sized by the schedule.

01
PERFORMANCE SPACE
Where physical development happens — speed, strength, and the measurement that goes with them. The morning track runs here.
02
CLASSROOM SPACE
Where mastery-based academics happen — quiet, connected, and built for a student working a personal plan, not a lecture hall.
03
RECOVERY SPACE
Where the fuel and recovery block lives — because recovery is scheduled, it needs somewhere real to happen.
04
FILM
Where decisions get reviewed — the room where the afternoon block turns a game into a pattern and a pattern into a drill.
TWO TRACKS RUN SIMULTANEOUSLY. WHILE TRACK A TRAINS, TRACK B IS IN CLASS — SO EVERY ONE OF THESE SPACES IS IN USE, ALL DAY. THAT IS WHAT DRIVES THE DESIGN.
