What the academic program is.

ACCREDITED ACADEMICS +
Continuum operates as an accredited private school. Accreditation means an outside body reviews the academic program — curriculum, instruction, records — against published standards, on a recurring cycle. It is the mechanism that makes a transcript from Continuum legible to every other institution.
U.S. DIPLOMA +
Graduates earn a standard U.S. high school diploma. The diploma your athlete earns here is the same document earned at any other accredited American school — the difference is how the learning underneath it was paced and verified.
NCAA PATHWAY +
The academic program is built to keep the NCAA eligibility track intact: core-course requirements, GPA, and the documentation the Eligibility Center asks for. Families do not have to choose between serious training and a clean eligibility file — the schedule is designed so both survive.
MASTERY-BASED PROGRESSION +
Courses are broken into modules, and modules end in checkpoints. A student moves forward when the checkpoint is passed — not when the calendar says the unit is over. Fast where the athlete is strong, patient where they are not. Pace is measured against the athlete's own plan, not against the class average.
COLLEGE PREPARATION +
The curriculum is college-preparatory in the plain sense: the courses, writing volume, and academic habits a selective college expects an applicant to have. Preparation includes the process itself — course selection, testing timelines, and application planning are part of the program, not an afterthought bolted on in junior year.
TEFA ELIGIBILITY +
Continuum is an eligible school under the Texas Education Freedom Accounts program. Texas families can apply program funds toward tuition, subject to the state's own rules and award process. Our admissions team will walk you through what that means for your family — the state's decision, not ours, determines the award.

Every course decomposes into modules. Every module closes with a checkpoint that either passes or does not. Behind the athlete, Discentia tracks mastery, pace against plan, and where the next checkpoint lands — and it talks to the training side of the house before a hard academic week collides with a hard training one.

THE PEOPLE WHO TEACH

The system tracks. Teachers teach. Software is very good at knowing exactly where an athlete stands; it is no good at all at knowing why today is the day to push, or to back off. The notes that matter — the ones about confidence, about a concept that finally clicked, about a kid who needs a different explanation — come from people who teach your child every day.
